The Soap Exchange Natural Peppermint Lip Balm Review

After using the peppermint lip scrub from The Soap Exchange I needed a lip balm to keep my lips moisturized, so I bought a lip balm from them as well.

On arrival, the order I received was incorrect. I ended up getting another peppermint lip scrub, so I had to contact them to get a lip balm sent to me. They were surprisingly polite about it and agreed. A relief, really since I wasn't sure what to do in a situation such as this when you make an order online and then get the wrong item sent. Thankfully they followed great customer service and accommodated me.

Then once I got the second package I wasn't too happy to see the lip balm wasn't a light pink color as I was expecting.

Based on their stock photos the lip balm had coloring but on arrival my lip balm didn't. A minor letdown but still important to me. In actual use the lip balm did have a melt on your lips texture, but I do not love the consistency. It moisturizes momentarily but doesn't keep your lips moisturized for long. To say nothing of the fact that the consistency feels too waxy and oily both at the same time. After using it for a time now, I won't be repeat buying The Soap Exchange Natural Peppermint Lip Balm, but I will continue to buy the lip scrubs they offer.
